This was hands down the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. First of all, the description on the website is completely inaccurate and the pictures aren't even real. The beds are definitely not new, as it felt like I was sleeping on a board covered in plastic. I wasn't given sheets and my "pillow" was about as thick as a piece of paper. I was stuck in the middle bunk of the ridiculous triple bunked beds, which was so cramped that I could barely even get in and out. There was no curtain on the bed, as stated, so there was absolutely nothing to drown out the noises of the myriad of other people in the overly cramped room. A window was open all night so I was freezing, and it didn't even help with the foul stench in the room. The door to the room didn't even lock and it barely closed. Our "private" bathroom turned out to be one filthy, tiny bathroom for the entire floor. One of the shower stalls was so grotesque that I almost vomited on sight. The breakfast times were short and inconvenient, but I wouldn't have trusted their revolting food anyways. They charged money to use their prehistoric computers. The staff was rude and not in the least bit helpful. This hostel is grotesquely overpriced and does not have one single redeeming quality. In addition, this is the farthest place from a "youth" hostel that I have ever stayed. The clientele was more in the retirement home age bracket. Overall this was a frustrating, enraging, and filthy experience. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

The Hostel was a joke. The rooms were cramped with bunk beds jammed next to each other, bunks were worn and had no curtains as described, peoples clothes and towels laying all over what must have been a 1x1m floor space within the room. Reception staff sat about as myself and partner stood at the desk for five minutes. We took a locker key for £1 a night and £5 deposit (reasonable price), however, we decided we were going to stay somewhere else and were making no complaints of the money we had already paid for the beds but they refused to refund the £1 after we had the locker key for 30 mins, a bit petty to hand me £4 back. Overall bad experience. Looks as though they have even resorted to making fake accounts to give themselves high reviews.

The place is a shamble. Don't believe what it says in the home page: new beds with curtains?!? I didn't see any. Mattresses are covered with plastic so even though it's quite nippy in the room (in order to sleep 14 people in a 4 by 3 meter room without smelling everybody's odour you need to keep a window open during the night) you wake up completely sweaty in the middle of the night. Showers drips water (which in two occasions was boiling hot). Communal area is filthy, not just dirty. The wooden tables have a black layer of grease on top. Very cheap but probably too expensive for what it offers. Not going back.
